as it stands now, lamont davis is to be believed the shooter pulling the drugger that july evening of last year and releasing the stray bullet that hit wyatt in the head and another victim in the forearm. davis was under gps monitoring at the time of the shooting for another crime. he was supposed to have the device on his ankle but the shooter on this ankle does not appear to be wearing one there. gps records suggests that davis was at home at the time or at least the device was. >> as long as they have these units, they can they will them where they're at and we can tell when a crime has been committed. >> reporter: but the company that supplies and monitors these gps devices in state of maryland admits that the tracking is not full proof. the role this evidence will play in davis' case will be up to a jury to decide. the trial is set to begin at 9:30 this morning. meantime, little raven wyatt is slowly recovering. she had been in a coma for sometime, amazing back in school and physical therapy. her injury has inspired a call to action against violence across the city. megan gillila
