plane went down six days ago they are gathering more information about what may have went wrong lana zach reports from new york. >> reporter: a discovery came from the java sea searchers found 21 bodies some still belted in their seat. >> where were the passengers they recovered sitting if they were all sitting in the back and most of these bodies are intact that would suggest to us that the tail section may have come off. crews are battling against monsoon rains to find pieces like these window panels while the search continues for the black boxes. assisted by the american ship, the uss sampson, most of the passengers have been recovered so far, even in their grief there is gratitude from the families. >> you see the bad weather and the search and rescue teams have done a good job and there is assistance from other countries with advanced technology. >> wanting only two things now answers and to give their loved ones a proper burial. 19 ships including the uss sampson are part of the recovery process and they are taking a break in the weather to recover more bodies and wreckage. >>> stil
