this one is continuing to move into chester and lancaster counties. another severe storm near the poconos, it is moving in that general direction of carbon and monroe counties, jim thorpe by 6:09 and polk by 6:35. so, a couple storms near the area rate now, but there's more back off to our west and to our southwest. we have been a watching the severe storms all afternoon long and a severe thunderstorm watch in the area until 10:00. with any of this, heavy rain, lightning, hail and damaging winds, we also have a flash flood watch for the area. so, any heavy rain could cause some pretty quick localized flooding. future weather for tonight shows the showers and storms moving through, 8:00, showers and storms still possible, even until about 11:00 tonight. then the overnight hours start to quiet down a bit, but then come friday morning, tomorrow morning, we could see a band of heavy rain moving into south jersey and delaware. be hurricane arthur and will remain offshore, but the affects of it will be moving onshore. coastline. that's what will essentially
