chp reopened to the lanes around 10, 30 and reopened all the lanes just after 11, 30. and where police say they arrested a man who shot and killed his father and dumped his body in a dumpster in union city. officers say they responded to the victim's home in on american avenue wednesday after getting reports that the father had not gone to work, it was not answering his phone. police also searched a warehouse on the property and found evidence of a shooting that led officers to arrest the victim's son who is in custody in oakland's for a separate incidents. police have not said what may have led to the shooting, but an investigation is ongoing. and another big story tonight, the loss of a music icon, phil lesh. he was one of the founding members, of course, of the bay area bands grateful dead. he died today at the age of 84. calm for shock moment has more on how fans are reacting >>it all started at the home in san francisco state district where things really got started for the band in the late 1960's at home. you see here behind me still stands today and there we saw
