john. it turns out that t.j. lane really did not make it very far. he was about 100 yards away from the main perimeter outside of the prison when they found him. he was the subject as you can imagine of the state wide manhunt. in chardon, people were very upset. as you can imagine. they closed schools there today because of it. they were able to get him with a helicopter which was equipped with infrared. they set up a perimeter. the one thing officials had going for them is they knew that he had escaped in a relatively short order. they were able to set up a perimeter. he never made it out of the area. as john alluded to, how did a gentleman serving three life sentences, who was convicted of a school shooting, just two years ago, get out of custody? a minimum security prison where he is being held. he is in protective custody. a lot of questions are going to be asked of this facility and of the warden. they had a press conference late into the evening and that is what is an issue. to see what is going on. >> a minimum facility prison. i would not use

john frees highway, and lehigh valley, exit the number 56, that is currently road work on the northeast extension. watch out for that. i-95 north bound between bridge and cottman construction has within lane block there, chris. >>> at 4:03 we have breaking news out of north philadelphia, a teenager is dead after being shot, gunman is on the lose. and that killer is still out there, and detectives are working very hard this morning and, last night just were 9c p.m. officers in the 22nd district heard a barrage of bullets, gunfire led them to the 2400 block of huntington where they encountered a 17 year-old who had just run inside his home moments before he had been hit in the chest by a bullet. victim was taken to the hospital and in extremely critical condition but later died. detectives discovered 19 shell casings at that scene, they say eight of them were fired at point blank range from a semiautomatic weapon. several witnesses were in the area at the time and they are cooperating with police but police are hoping something else to help them solve this crime. >> fortunately we did find some private surveillance cameras in the neighborhood that are facing in the direction where the shoot
