he did have a number of marriages but lani ali, they married in 1986 and she is just an amazing, fabulous, wonderful, magnificent, brilliant woman and what she did for muhammad and with muhammad as his partner these past 30 years has been incredible and remarkable. my hareart goes out to her. she has been phenomenal in his care with parkinson's over all of these years, at his side, handling his business, handling his physical ailments. always with a smile. and you know, it's not easy to be in that position. not easy at all. and she has handled it with tremendous grace and dignity and class and respect. i'm sure that this evening is very, very difficult for her to have lost her husband and probably also equally some form of gratitude to god that he did not suffer and that -- anymore. and he can rest in peace. >> absolutely, jim and i'm sure his family must be so proud. some of the video we've been showing in the ring, outside the ring, with his family. we showed video as he was awarded the presidential medal of freedom in 2005. he was such a transformative figure and also involved in civil
