let's go to our financial correspondent now in frankfurt chelsea to lanie chelsea how seriously are markets taking these attacks. there's been a bit of whiplash this morning across global markets the initial reaction to this news was a pretty dramatic spike downward for global equities and a big jump in oil oil was up about 5 percent at the end and then point out of this news that investors have really been reassessing the risk over the past several hours and that's due in part to some tweets that worse than overnight from from president trump where he said all it's good all is well and they're going to do more reassessments but at this point it doesn't appear that there have been any u.s. casualties. in the iranian official has also said that they don't want a war and they don't want to escalate this so investors are hoping that this is really the end of retaliation on both parts and that there might be more of a diplomatic approach going forward so i think that's one reason why we've seen markets really turning around here. that shows did you get the sense that investors or eager to get p
