i've got to meet this guy lanny. thank you all for coming and sharing this great night which i feel is going to be the launch of a fabulous book. i had the honor and privilege of forwarding the book and enjoyed every minute of it but i wanted to publicly thank and congratulate the writer and author david fisher and our former associate director of operations mike earp. they certainly need a round of applause for what they have done to get this book out. [applause] the stories that are in the book are extraordinary work that goes on every day in the marshals service. the investigators and david touched on the task force that iran. we were stood up in may of 2002 congressionally funded on a mandate that mr. earp was instrumental in spearheading and getting this thing off the ground. back in 02 after 9/11 with the fbi concentrating on domestic terrorism somebody need to look at our own backyard. we started very small, three officers one in jersey one in long island and one in manhattan then we had 30 investigators from
