just to the north of norristown near lansdale you see a little bit of that pink highlighted as well.t's especially heavy snow and we're getting some of that in northeast philadelphia, too. so across the immediate region on your more heavily traveled roads you're looking at that heavy stuff stuff. out in allentown nd reading the snow is begin to thin out a little bit. harrisburg drying out at this point and gettysburg very close to that. it may be a case where very quickly during the rush hour we start to see the intensity slacking a bit. i will go down to the south parts of cape may atlantic county also heavy banding of snow and these are the areas where we thought we were going to get the heaviest accumulations. you have to deal with this stuff out to the west that still has to break through and looks like down the shore you'll be stuck with that heavier snow a little longer. we are evolving towards some improvement. at this point we're still looking at pretty significant snowfall. as we look outside we have sky 6 and we are trying to see the ben franklin bridge. you can kind of pic

expect icy conditions in lansdale montgomery county eighth street and maple avenue. you might want to stick to seventh street and kenilworth avenue instead. in norristown we have been talking about this apartment building fire. we've got a number of closures that we're dealing with. swede street closed near airy street. airy street itself is closed near swede. marshall street is closed near markley. stick to markley street or dekalb streak and main street as your alternates to deal with these closures in norristown. we're watching for snow showers. not seeing a problem yet but we'll keep a close eye matt. >> let's stick with the fire breaking right now. we have learned one person died as flames devoured the upper floors of that six story apartment building in montgomery county. others were hurt and many more are homeless. regional service between lansdale and doylestown was temporarily suspended due to overhead power problems, the problems have been fixed. service was restored before 10:30. in addition to the dangerous cold and high winds we got more snow overnight. the action cam was in cherry hill as the bobcat cleared a parking lot at kings highway around midnight. how would you like to have this job? we found a man picking up trash as the winds blew the snow just before 1:00 a.m. at the cherry hill mall. he was barely visible to our camera manld in the blinding -- man in the blinding snow. the action cam was along route 90 in pennsauken. traffic was moving okay at midnight. as you can see the road was covered with snow and the wind was blowing the snow around making it hard for drivers to see. >>> new england was hammered with snow so far this winter. old man winter is not letting up. a blizzard warning in effect for coastal communities from rhode island to maine. the governors of rhode island and massachusetts are urging residents to stay off the roads. >> i certainly share the same frustration that o
