one of the victims is laquita brown. we had a chance to speak with her uncle and she actually knew the suspect and she questioned his stability. >> she knew him. and she actually felt that he wasn't, you know, in his right mind at times. >> reporter: and yesterday, another big headline was the time line of this shooting. we learned that it took just two minutes for officers to arrive on the scene. 36 minutes from dispatch to apprehending the suspect. and, stephanie, it was quite a dramatic moment when officers had that confrontation with the suspect. it was a long gun battle. he was shooting through the door when he was cornered. eventually, when they got to him, he was still alive, they rendered aid and arrested him but he later died at the hospital. currently, there are four victims hospitalized in critical condition. and the mourning continues for this community. two individuals are scheduled for later on today steph. >> thank you so much. now, we have to turn to the massive flooding across the middle of this country.
