[ inaudible ] second, they were playing to the audience. much better debate than the other two. >> larry, was there a winner, or i guess was there a loser tonight? let's keep it local. representative barbara lee trailing in the polls. did she help herself tonight or is she going to get lost in the shuffle here? >> it was hard for her to do really much better than she's done. you saw that poll. schiff, garvey, porter. it's pretty tough to climb that much at this point in the campaign. she's very sincere about what she believes, and she doesn't hesitate to say it. [ inaudible ] why? because schiff is number one. porter is number three now. great discussions here. larry gerston is here to break all of this down. great to see you as always. can you first remind us of the three different cases? >> oh, boy. big problems here, especially for former president trump. first, there's the libel case where he was just given the bill of $450 million for illegal loans that he acquired for his companies. unbelievable amount. second, there's the march 25th trial date that you alluded to, where he will have to face charges of paying hush money to stormy daniels to really avoid the knowledge before the election. and third, the failed effort looks like it's a failed effort against fani willis, who is running the georgia case where he's accused of election interference. just in one week. >> i would ask how are all these impacting his run for president, but they don't really seem to be? >> kira, it's amazing. i checked the polls from the last two weeks. he has a two-point lead over joe biden in five polls. now, they're within four points margin of error, so you can call it even, but remember, elections are state by state. he still looks i
