larry sanger joins us tonight. thanks so much for coming on. of those things that a lot of people who use wikipedia have noticed. but wait a second, i know some facts that are not in this entry or they are playing up some thing that doesn't seem to be true or this is highly politicized. you see the bigger picture here. what do you think? >> it's complicated. for one thing, wikipedia allows anonymous contribution. that means that because it is one of the most popular sources of information online, there is a natural incentive for governments and corporations, spies, even criminal operations, to basically learn how to play that wikipedia games. it is opaque to me now how it really works. what results is basically establishing views or what you find pushed. they have completely abandon the neutral point of view. >> that's a problem because in my view, wikipedia shapes this country's it's the primaryit source of information for people about many, about history. we need to fix this. how do you think we can do that? >> thanks for asking that. i don't
