larry scott just came back from china. we hooked them up with our program.ant to have markets in the far east, men's and women's sports. i want to indicate just how excited i am about that and to let you know, names that our generation have been familiar with -- john elway, ronnie lott, kareem abdul-jabbar, jason kidd, tiger woods, they all came through the pac 12 colleges. if the digital media center is here, they will be coming here for their interviews, coming here to announce what they are doing, coming here to be entertained, as well as see their fans. we are on a good role. pac 12 is exciting to have here. so we have the unemployment rate reduction to 7.8%, the america's cup moving forward on the eir, and this key agreement with the piers and development rights, balancing what the public and port staff has been focused on, and then with our great partners in the ac event authority, and then we have this pac 12 agreement. they want to be broadcasting by next year. so with that, i want to welcome] >> i would like to thank the mayor personally. we are new

larry sabato and from asbury park, new jersey pollster scott rasmussen.king at the fox poll and i see that obama beats everyone handily. 47, 42 for romney. santorum 50 to 38. gingrich 51 foe 38. scott, let's start with you since you run your own polling shop. is this just the result of the infighting in the republics? a little bit of the good news on the economy? or is this a lasting move for obama up in the polls, approval rating is going to stay there? >> it's not the republic infighting. in fact, our numbers do show some similar trends fox polls. we show mitt romney down by 10 right now. over the last couple nights, rick santorum doing better. is he only down by 4. the reason president obama is doing well is because people are feeling better about the economy. right now, 36% say their own finances are in good shape. that's not a great number. but it's up 9 points since last summer. and not coincidentally his job approval rating is also up 9 points to 51% in the rasmussen poll. what we are see something people feeling better about the he economy. feelin

scott, i'm not in mr. fink's camp here. i think asking larry fink and blackrock, one of the largest equity owners in the world, if they like stocks is sort of like asking silvio berlusconi, do you like women? we know what the answer is going to be. if you look at a chart of the s&p and put it with blackrock's stock, it looks almost identical. mr. fink has had a tremendous career. i have admiration for him. but i remember an interview on this network in june of 2008 when he said -- he was talking about lehman specifically. he said that lehman had plenty of liquidity, that it was not a bear stearns situation and he said we were near the bottom -- >> let's move beyond sort of that. i don't want to get into either finger-pointing at larry fink or the fact that he may be talking his own book. its irrelevant for this conversation. the fact of the matter is, do you think with the view that equities are a better place to be than bonds? >> at this point, no. i think saying the s&p which has now doubled off its crisis lows, that now is the time to be all
