janine de la vega is joining us now from san jose with more on this story. janine. >> reporter: pam, we expect emotions to run high when people file into this courthouse later this morning. right now there is a caravan of buses traveling here from l.a.. they want the judge to know they don't want a man who terrorized women to live in their community. serial rapist christopher was convicted of raping and assaulting 40 women between 1971 and 1982 throughout california. including the bay area. he's been in a state mental hospital since his release from prison in 1996. this morning a judge in santa clara county will hold a hearing to determine if he should be released in unincorporated palm dale which is about an hour out of the l.a. area. that plan has sparked outrage among people who have lived in that community. nay have organized a facebook page urging people to come to the bay area to tell the judge that hubbard is not wanted and to keep looking for another city to relocate him. now when the protestors arrive we plan on talking to them about all of this and
