(grant) five thieves reportedly armed with axes made off with over five- millions dollars of worth of jewels. it happened around 6:30... at a shop inside the luxury ritz hotel in central paris. three robbers were arrested and the other two got away with the goods. no injuries were reported. this is the second big jewel robbery in a major european city in a week. thieves made a daytime heist of valuable jewels at an exhibition in venice, italy, back on january third.
