and we know from metro las vegas p.d., the shooter is in a room in the hotel. that again backs up shooting from an elevated position. it's coming together in bits and pieces. it didn't sound from the quick review a couple of times i heard the video that it was anything that one person could not have done. it could have been just one person. there was some semiautomatic fi fire after the fully automatic fire but that may have been a shooter with a hague, another rifle, switch -- a handgun, another rifle, switched to semiautomatic rifle or a police officer shooting when he saw the flashes at the window. we're not clear on that. shooting into a crowd that large with a submachine gun from an elevated position, it's going to cause this number of casualties. of course, the high-velocity rifle rounds are devastating, as you know. >> let me ask you one question if i may. and again, it's important to emphasize, we don't know anything yet about the shooter or motivations or identity. we are expecting a press conference from the las vegas police department that will begin
