let me continue with the focus on latinos. ana, you have done a lot, your education has been at the university of chicago, you have written some of the major studies for pew. you have a daughter. that is one of the baptisms we were talking about. a couple of things in the studies you did really struck me. one is about half of hispanics say their situation has worsened in this country. 49% worry about their place in the united states and more than half think they might be deported or know someone who is going to be deported. in terms of their faith and politics, what does that do in terms of their participation, their willingness to register to vote if they are afraid of deportation, and the choices they make when they feel less welcome, less at home than they have. ana: one thing that is very important about latino voters that a lot of people don't think about is that, two thirds lean toward the democratic party, but they are not a monolithic group. there are some big minorities that is republican and they are strong republica
