every 30 seconds, a latino in the u.s. is turning 18. every single year, an additional 1 million latinos are eligible to be registered to vote. that is 4 million every presidential election. i know that on on our end, in terms of the work nonprofit organizations did, many who did this with a small amount of funds, the work we did is amazing. in terms of the numbers and the impact that we have. so many in our community were paying attention. what we saw in georgia yesterday on the first day of early voting is a record number of turnouts of people who understand the importance of that state and what will happen january 5. kathy: there have been investments in civic engagement in the asian american, native, and the pacific islander communities across the country. we have seen enormous growth in voter registration and getting out the vote, especially in those battleground states like pennsylvania, michigan, and georgia. we are also hoping those people come back again to the polls this january to show up as well. these investments the last 12
