welcome to "first up," and angie lau from our asian headquarters in hong kong.he latest tank and survey a sentiment hits corporate -- has corporate japan and rather mixed messages. some surprises here. on twohn: surprises fronts. first of all, first quarter business sentiment actually is better than expected, but the outlook for the next three months is weakening. nonmanufacturing, we thought numbers coming in at 25, which matched the previous order. the famous in the fourth quarter, both were expected to fall, but it actually matched the numbers and beat expectations. the difference is that the outlook for the next three the largeng manufacturers coming in at seven, falling from 10, and also missing estimates that it would rise to 11. the same thing along large non-manufacturers. outlook is coming in 18, falling from 19 the previous quarter. we just had hsbc japan economist telling us this may be due to concerns over the global economic outlook, specially in china, as well as perhaps concentrated weakness in some sectors like steel. at least the government can
