good morning. >> reporter: good morning, laura.book moved to their new damp us on bay front expressway in menlo park the city was worried about the traffic. facebook paid menlo park $15 million roughly to help mitigate those concerns. now the media giant wants to expand to a new campus down the street. the city is again concerned about the impact it would have. this time around facebook is telling menlo park don't push it when it comes to asking for money. last night at a city council meeting, facebook's cfo told councilmembers the company feels it doesn't need to pay a whole lot more, considering the millions it has already forked over. according to the "mercury news" council staff is recommending facebook pay something on an annual basis, considering that the new campus wouldn't be generating sales tax revenue, even though it would be adding more traffic and could impact city serves. nothing has been finalized. the city and facebook are still in the negotiation phase. jon, laura. >> thank you very much. >>> well, facebook shares

bob. >> reporter: well, good morning to you, laura. we've been in touch with the mon monte mo monte sereno and los gatos police department. we're in monte sereno. this is in the south bay. this is a community with a lot of large homes. it's very tight, windy roads and we're at the bottom of one of the roads. you can see campbell police are helping out the monte sereno police department and they have blocked off the road. up that road is where this investigation is going on. what little we know so far is that just before 2:00, around 1:50, there was a possible home invasion robbery. that's all we have right now because we're waiting for this public information officer to get in here. but the fact that monte sereno los gatos police have called in campbell police indicates this is a crime that is requiring a lot of their resources, so much so that they had to call for outside help. so again we're here at the bottom of the road where up the street we believe it's a very large house is the crime scene where police are right now conducting t

laura. >> 6:04. a verdict is expected today in the trial of a san francisco man accused of violent sexual assaults on women. prosecutors say frederick dozier attacked three women along the 24th street corridor in the mission district between june and december of 2011. he allegedly grabbed the victims from behind, dragging them to secluded areas. dozier was arrested after police matched his dna to evidence from crime scenes. >>> a college-bound marine from san jose is now dead after a night out on the town in palm springs. now his family is demanding answers. allan devillena's family is in palm springs this morning looking into why police shot and killed their son. officers say they shot the marine after he hit an officer with his car inside a parking garage. police say another officer then climbed into the passenger window trying to stop the car, but the marine kept driving. that's when a third officer fired that deadly shot. coming up at 6:30, you'll hear what the marine's father is saying about his
