here's the traffic expert laura demaria with everything you need to know about the morning commute. >> laura: yeah. we are really experts this morning, because we're actually out on the roads showing you the commute. we heard about this fog, so we want to show you what you would and went through a couple spots where it was spotty. we head to the west side where you say it's worse. this is a look at where we are right now. we're north of the brunswick area. we're headed towards strongsville, and it looks very, very clear here. no problems at all. for those coming in in the foggier parts of the viewing area, especially the west side, i have a few tips for you to share. first off, make sure you slow down and use your flashers i those will help guide not only you but really help the others that are around you see where you are when you get in that really dense fog. use your low beams, definitely not the high beams. they're too reflective, and use fog lights if you have them. also, use the pavement lines to the left and right of your car to guide you. as for the maps right now, we're still

samantha roberts to tell you how long the rain will stick around, and from there we hear from laura demaria to tell you about the roads. sam. >> samantha: it is a wet morning, guys. the entire viewing area is seeing rain this morning. a lot of this is light, but there are some pockets of heavy towards crawford and morrow counties and southerning huron county as well. those showers newly developed. we have heavy rain around tuscarawas county where we have a flash flood watch in effect. that same flash flood watch is in effect for carroll county and columbiana county. so if you're in any of these areas, be aware you will run into reduced visibility, ponding on the roads and a lot of wet leaves around so your storm as you walk, a lot of people don't think about this, but this time of year we have high leaf drop because the leaves are dying and changing colors and falling and hitting the ground. when you mix in rain, it can get slippery not just driving but also walking. take it slower out there this morning. we're going to have rain all the way through midday. here's the school day forecast. l
