news in gaithersburg, police are looking for someone who invaded a home shot and killed a person, laura evans just arrived on the scene, this point? >> reporter: we're on luncastor mill at ivy ok drive. this home is 7901 muncastor mill. it's not a lot of information, but what we're hearing from montgomery county police somebody forced their way into the house before 10:00, it was 9:58 tonight. and shot the person, the man inside of that home there at we have learned that the victim, the man died and they're looking for the shooter. a perimeter has been set up. you can see all of the officers, the police cars that are out here, i've counted about a dozen, there may be more than that, but muncastor mill between ivy ok has been shutdown, they're not letting anybody through, there's a perimeter set up around the home as they investigate. it hour. police public information officer is on the way to give us a little bit more information. there is a private school not too far from here but it's mostly a single family home area. i just spoke with neighbors. very quiet neighborhood here. they say this
