coworkers at this oakland k-f-c say 23-year-old laura rogers was a bubbly girl who they didn't think was capable of such a thing. over at youth uprising in oakland 23-year-old curtys taylor worked closely with kids managing activities and breaking up fights. those who worked alongside taylor say they only saw good qualities in him. mahlika alfresco, aquainted with suspects "he was really nice and friendly, helping with the kids very goofy. he would help open the doors for me when i needed to walk home he would offer a ride. just a gentlemanlike person." alfresco also went to holy names high school with rogers.
