i'm scott mcgrew. >> i'm laura garcia. coming up, we will continue the storm coverage. we are on early this morning bringing the latest on the storm. let's bring in meteorologist kari hall. how long before the storm moves out? >> it is coming in waves. it is becoming more scattered. we will see more breaks as we go into today. we are still dealing with this storm after the brunt moved through yesterday evening. now watching out for the potential of thunderstorms. as we get a closer look, we see the showers are light across san jose. other areas are getting a chance with the heavy rain soak into the ground. we are seeing some lightning strikes off to the east of us as it is moving to the sacramento valley. before the bay area, it is once again lighter compared to what we had yesterday. zooming in to the south bay as well as over to palo alto, there are pockets still of heavy rain that is moving through. we are still under that flood watch that will continue for today as we are looking at the potential of the water continuing to drain down into the creeks, rivers and stre
