lauren casey tracking the storm in the cbs-3 weather center. what a morning, what's the latest now? >> we continue to deal with conditions that we have been dealing with over the last several hours throughout the morning. winds continuing to whip strong wind gusts, check out some of the wind gusts already, as we look down the shore, right now, you can see, the winds driving that rain, driving the ocean water as we get live look at ocean city. cape may county, new jersey, the most rough conditions being had along the coast where winds gust of 63 miles per hour in cape may. 52 miles per hour in ocean city. you think about tropical storm force, that starts criteria at around 39 miles per hour. we're at 47-mile per hour winds in reading and in northeast philly, winds gusting to 45 already. and we have had some storm report traffic light down in atlantic city, power outages in lumberton, home in lewes, delaware, unfortunately, likely to see more of these type reports, as we head into the afternoon. high winds warning in effect for philadelphia surrounding counties, upward 65 miles per ho

lauren casey is in the cbs3 weather center >>> we're not dealing with anything just yet but the clouds moving in over last couple hours, the moisture is approaching delmarva. we do have the freezing rain advisory in effect for a majority of area, including philadelphia and surrounding counties from 4:00 a.m. till 8:00 a.m. in or around in philadelphia till 10:00 a.m. in the lehigh valley. until 2:00 p.m. in the poconos as we could see pockets of freezing rain with these temperatures currently nearing that freezing mark or at freezing, below freezing in berks county, well below in the poconos and get and on the and on the the 95 corridor. temperatures won't be cooling too much more. it will gradually warm as we head to the late overnight period and early tomorrow morning but that rain will arrive by sunrise across much of the area, we could, indeed, see teams of freezing rain and dreary especially northwest of the city and in the interior suburbs in new jersey. also light and steady rain continuing throughout the day on monday after that freezing threat comes to an we understand. we cou

. >> our meteorologist, lauren casey, live in collingswood with the with a look at the conditions there, good morning, lawyer glenn good morning, guys, yes. looks can be little deceiving, you don't see piles and piles of snow. but you still want to take it very slow. whether you're commuting via car, bike or on foot. it is very slippery out here. got the boots on. but i've been sliding around quite a bit. even though the sidewalks have been treated. the road surfaces have been treated, as women. so not seeing accumulation of snowfall on the roadways. but it certainly is very wet. very slick. specially toward the curves and sidewalks. you want to take it easy as you make those turns and end count area lot of the ponding on the roadways. now, temperatures are starting to cool off. now that the snow has come to an end, the cloud deck lift ago little bit. so we can see few flurries, but these slick untreated roads are going to be an issue, because we could see some freezing with these temperatures that are going to be at or sub-freezing really for much of the day with the high temperatures

meteorologist lauren casey is live in brigantine tonight and we can see the weather there is even affecting the camera. >> reporter: yeah it's still pretty brutal out here. the good news is the flood waters have largely receded but the sea is still angry down the seawall here in brigantine. we're still dealing with light rain but the winds are unrelenting. a powerful nor'easter battered the new jersey shore today bringing wind gusts of more than 60 miles an hour. 20 foot waves crashed against a sea wall in atlantic city where numerous streets were submerged. in brigantine rough surf high winds have continued well into the evening. a wind advisory remains in effect until midnight tonight. >> reporter: and it was out here this same beach about four months ago on vacation and i think i prefer the conditions back then just a little bit better. >> i would say probably so, lauren. get dry and some rest tonight. you guys have been out there all day long and just the conditions have deteriorated once again. we saw lauren around 6:00 and the rain had tapered off for a bit. we had a little bit of a b
