crisis ravaging the eurozone took top billing at the annual world economic forum in davos argues lauren lyster is there. we're going in today for davos at the world economic forum and today we'll hear from a number of economists and kind of thinkers about where the global economy is headed we'll have to see how much attention the eurozone captures though because it really has overshadowed a lot of other things that happened on the official and unofficial agenda here at davos we heard from a number of euro zone finance ministers and e.u. officials speaking with a lot of optimism about the euro zone solution saying they believe the fiscal compact will be reached with tighter fiscal discipline in that this will really help the debt crisis that the euro zone is dealing with they also said that greek bond holders will come to an agreement on haircuts for greek debt by this weekend to hopefully presumably avoid default which is definitely not a certain thing at all and that d.-day for greece is march twentieth.

lauren lyster standing by for us in davos lauren good to see you talks are planned on some kind of reform of capitalism but is there really any optimism that anyone has answers to what's a pretty big question. it is a pretty big question indeed and you pose a great question can anybody really solve that big issue that faces the globe really they're trying here it's certainly on the agenda talk of remodelling capitalism debate about capitalism and they can talk all they want though you have to wonder how serious people are about that discussion when many of the corporations that are present here are those that have benefited from this term this type of capitalism so although klaus schwab the founder of the world economic forum has said that capitalism in its current form has no place in the world around us these are the corporations and banks that are represented here many of which have benefited from government bailouts in the case of banks from central bank easy money policies in the case case of many banks and corporations so whether or not these are the right people to be having that c
