kwwl's lauren pe the woman today- she joins us now with more, lauren melissa understands why someone would take her sunglasses and ipod left inside.. but her 6 year old daughter's beloved blanket ....not so much. leaving her daughter devasted that is until an iowa state trooper pulled 6 year old alaina aside..giving her this teddy bear dressed in a iowa state patrol shirt.. mom says she stopped crying and instantly lit up... a small action, proving someone way...for alaina and her mother. the good guys will always out-number the bad guys..that there will always be someone be there that is going to make it all better and you know, when i was struggling melissa doesnt know the trooper's name who went above and beyond for her little girl..but she wrote a letter to the department, thanking them for not only finding her car- but for also giving her daughter a special memory out of at the time of the flooding, a lot going was going on in the city- this was something that was so small... but to a 6 year old it was everything...and their act of kindness truly made a difference. we've got you
