in san francisco, and in california, it is referred to as laurette's law and is designed to work with individuals who have serious mental illness who were not engaged in care and are on a downward spiral, and there is strict legal eligibility to qualify for the program and there is nine different levels of eligibility, ultimately, what it allows us to do, and in certain circumstances, it is to pursue a civil court order which allows us to leverage the symbolic wait of the court and support an individual in accessing services. and ultimately, the goal of the program is to reduce negative incomes -- outcomes including hospitalization, incarceration, and victimization. in san francisco, we verdict -- we work very much to employ principles that are employed by all of our behavioural health services, including recovery and wellness and trauma informed care. part of the goal behind that was we really wanted a core petition to be the last resort. our primary goal was to do whatever we can and meeting people and this idea of whatever it takes and wherever it takes to engage individuals and vo
