lawrence is standing by to tell us how much colder it's going to get. lawrence? >> yeah. it is going to be one of those chilly cold nights around the bay area. frost going to be developing in some of the valleys. out there right now, we have a few clouds but not many. mostly clear skies. so yeah, nothing to really hold the heat in so those temperatures going to plunge in a hurry. check out the satellite image. you get a good idea of where all that cold air is coming from out in the gulf of alaska. look at it traveling down along the coastline. bringing that cold air to plunge the temperatures into the deep freeze tonight in many spots inland down the freezing mark in napa at 32. 30 in santa rosa. hey, we can see 29 degrees in fairfield, about 32 and freezing in concord, 30 in livermore, not as cold around the bay. but you get the idea, cold enough chilly temperatures about everywhere you go. it looks like things are about to change. we have more rain brewing and that could factor into your new year's over. we'll talk about that coming up in just a couple of minutes, rocke
