it's back, lawrence and the rain. did you bring it with you, lawrence? >> it hasn't gone away all spring. we can't get that big ridge of high pressure building in stow that leaves the storm door open. we have another storm headed to the bay area today. showers beginning in the north bay. it will slowly work across the rest of the bay area. when will we see an end of the rain? we'll talk about that coming up. first elizabeth has traffic. >> we have an issue developing on the north side of the golden gate bridge. if you are coming out of the waldo tunnel there was some roadwork from there towards the north tower. and it sounds like only one lane is still open so this roadwork is opening late. but i have been watching this golden gate bridge camera for the last 30 seconds or so and i have not seen any southbound traffic come through. so it sounds like they may be holding traffic right now on the north end of the bridge. we'll continue to watch it. they hopefully should be wrapping up this roadwork shortly. but in the meantime, we'll toss it back to you guys

more sunshine, lawrence? we hope so. >> yeah. i think we're going to have a great friday here in the bay area. changes over the weekend. you can see why behind me. you have a cold front that's approaching the coastline. most of the energy is going to run over the top of this ridge but we are going to see a few high clouds from that over parts of the day today. still, a lot of sunshine coming our way. temperatures comfortable again. out the door, low clouds and fog. 40s and 50s outside but by the afternoon here comes that sunshine. and a few passing high clouds, still temperatures moving well into the 70s inland as high as 75 in fairfield, 74 in concord, 73 degrees in san jose. out at the coast, you have the fog and low clouds dancing at the coast, keeping temperatures down. over the weekend things will change as a weak system slides in. but we removed the chance of rainfall on sunday so we'll just see passing cloud and much cooler temperatures, probably a very breezy weekend as we'll see that cool air flowing off of the pacific.
