lawrence. farms are closing the door at an accelerated rate. what can be done? near and dear to my heart. something that most people don't know is one of my first jobs as a teenager was working in marl bro, new hampshire, helping with livestock and there was a dairy farmer out there by the name of mr. kenny that i have very fond memories of helping him out on his dairy farm. unfortunately he's had to convert his dairy farm to now a maple farm. he makes maple syrup because he couldn't keep up. we have taken some steps to try an p but there's definitely more that we can do. i think it is important for us to do that. i would be willing to work with state and legal officials to make sure that the dare -- local officials to make sure thathe dairy farmers have the support they need to ride out hard economic times, which they're suffering under right now. to make sure that we maintain this important part of our industrial base. josh: let's get our panel back in here. next question coming from new hamp
