lawrence karnow is in the weather center with more for us.wrence. >> well, allen, you know what, it's been the low clouds and fog that have been keeping us cooler than normal around the bay area. temperatures 5 to 15 degrees below average. cloud deck started off the day. still we'll see plenty of sunshine in the interior valleys in the afternoon. 70s and 80s, cooler than normal but comfortable. inside the bay 60s and 70s and a little more sunshine. at the coast low clouds and fog. as we head in toward tonight, guess what, that cloud tech starts to march back onshore and becoming mostly cloudy even in the interior valleys. inside the bay of course you have clouds there and out toward the coastline of course moving in temperatures generally running into the 50s. so here come the clouds again but i think as we head in toward the next couple of days, high pressure is going to build in helping to compress the marine layer. that means less cloud cover and some warmer temperatures at least inland. clouds now breaking up. typical pattern, summer suns
