house. december, 2009, parks commissioner president lazarus ordered an rpd staff to hold public meetings with regards to changing the use of the boat house. no public meetings had been held prior to the rpd making the top down decision to turn the top level of the boat house into a cafe/souvenir shop. having misled the public, they did not disclose city documents regarding the boat house. they told the commission that the boats were knew when i and the lease it says new, or if not new. we could go on and on. we do not want this change of use. this approval must be postponed. supervisor chu: thank youchu next -- thank you. supervisor chu: next speaker, please. >> my name is peggy cushion. i am opposed to the lease. i am with the sierra club and the golden gate audubon society. we are concerned that the change of function in this boat house will threaten children's appreciation of boating, as well as the heron degree. vendor, shmendor, we do not care who the vendor is. we want a good contract. i would like these inserted into the contract. no night lighting. this is very important to the golden
