first to you, leanne, i want to ask about what the latest is with what the republicans are offering dr. ford and why that doesn't fall in line with what she was asking for. >> there's a list of requests that dr. ford gave to republicans last night. their response which has been leaked to the president doesn't accommodate all of those requests. up with of the things which ford said was non-negotiatable, she wanted to testify at thursdays at the earliest. the republicans are expecting to send back to her they will support a wednesday testimony instead. another thing is that they also want ford to testify ford. ford wanted kavanaugh to testify first and she be the second one. republicans want an outside counsel instead of senators to question ford. that's something that's not been nailed done among republicans. i'm told according to a couple of sources. while they debate that, we're probably going to have to wait until the official letter is sent to ford's attorneys to find out what the specifics are. >> that's interesting, the idea of having another counsel question a witness. they're al
