. >> leann melendez, abc 7 news. >>> it will take bart riders in contra costa longer to get from point a to point b and it's the contra costa center stations this weekend so crews can replace the ageing track there. bart is offering free bus service to the stations and riders should expect 20 minutes of their normal trip planned in the area and there will be closures during memorial day weekend and in june. the jail will go down as next week. the move would save at least $6 million. the oakland jail has about 400 inmates, but can house up to 800. the jail in dublin can handle around 3,000, but is well under that number right now. sheriff ahern says there will not be any layoffs because of the closure. >>> happening today, san francisco police will join an organization for a gun buyback. 100 bucks will be offered for pistols, shot duguns and rifles questions asked. it will run from 9:00 until noon on oak dale avenue and third street. >>> check your medicine cabinets for old prescription drugs to make sure they don't end up in the wrong hands. today is national prescription drug takeback
