not surprising to anybody with leary and his taste of celebrity he had no interest at all. [laughter] instead they settled for a ranch high a in the mountains near palm springs but most of the brothers at this point* were fugitives from the lot and they thought hanging out with a guy running for governor on the ticket of marijuana legalization and wanted to outlaw the ball and make baseball the state sport and eliminate all money to go to a barter system, john lennon whom he had helped with the song all you need is love he sang part of the chorus, he wrote the song come together , the campaign anthem. it was a high-profile guy with high-profile friends. most of the guys were not all interested in hanging out with the range and they did their own deal but the rest of them scattered. they ended up and now we which was the version of the utopian island and back then in 1970 when they arrived it was much different. i was lucky enough to go there, they totally went there with the grandiose ambitions several of them with no standing experience commandeered a yacht and filled with

[laughter] yesterday i got a call if they are delighted with the book. i tried to write in such a way to show how crazy this was. on the individuals that talk to me were amazed at how little they knew what was going on. >> [inaudible] what about the black panthers? with the revolutionary kind of group buydown get back from this group? what was the connection? >> they were just middlemen. >> the black panthers involvement springing leary from prison after receiving money from the brotherhood of the eternal love and passing it to the weatherman. why would it the allegedly peace and freedom loving team up with the black panthers? one of the brothers said they were in the revolution and so were we but we were achieving it through love, not violence. so we raise the money to do it a lot of it came from the hash sales in the illegal activity but blending california we have these posters that had free leary abducted by g

and that's where to be the hard part so i think part of it in addition to the important stuff that learyand others talked about is going to mean an attitude shift. i certainly have experienced what from 11 years ago i had to change my attitude about how i was going to do my work. i will just leave you with this rtoon. sometimes i think a collabut y.
