lee? >> well, as i said in my opening remarks, at some point in late july, members of the port authority police spoke to davis wildstein. so it was triggered by a conversation in late july. >> who were these police officers that raise the issue that we ought to look at this? >> the leadership of the port authority police. >> names? >> paul nunziano. mike de filippis. >> the head of the port authority pba raised this as an issue? >> that's correct. >> that's his responsibility to, i mean, he's got a traffic mitigation responsibility? it just seems like an unusual -- >> two things, i don't think there's anything unusual about people who represent police officers talking about traffic safety. and second, given the fact that one of the two people actually worked at the bridge, i don't think it's unusual at all. of course, police officers raise traffic concerns. >> so this traffic concern that was raised by these officers, is it reduced to writing, is there an internal memorandum? >> no, it was

lee. mr. lee was the dialysis patient and he's probably in his 80's and every time we would drive up to buchanan street, the hospital, mr. lee would say, "good job, fine driver, number one driver" and he would go like this [thumbs up gesture]. and then as brian would be helping him off the van, mr. lee, i heard him so often say, "brian, if anybody gives you any trouble you send them to me and i'll take care of them." and here great big old brian would say, "henry, you're the first one i would try to get help from." and he says, "the second one is elsa." [laugh] so we knew that we were being relied on by brian. a few weeks back, mrs. lee called brian early in the morning to tell him not to bother picking them up because they were already at the hospital. mr. lee was ill and she had taken him to the er. the next day or so, brian, on his lunchtime, found out that mr. lee had been admitted to the hospital and he went up to mr. lee's room and just stuck his head in just to say hello. and the minute

lee." to which that fore mentioned ex-port authority official said got it. it's the guy who said "got it" and seemed to spend the next few weeks orchestrating how to create the traffic problems in ft. lee. it's the "got it" guy who today alleged in a letter from his lawyer that governor chris christie, himself, knew about this. knew about the lanes being shut down. and here's what's important about that. for governor christie. governor christie is already in trouble, at least it looks like he's already in trouble for what he has said publicly about this scheme. the scheme to use the george washington bridge as a way to punish this town of ft. lee. it was wednesday, january 8th, when the e-mails and text messages were first published that showed that the order to hurt ft. lee by shutting down those lanes had come from governor christie's office, had come from his deputy chief of staff. that was also the day we saw these heavily redacted text messages between someone who appears to be the sa

lee. he asked them specifically to model some new traffic patterns that would result in reducing ft. lee's access to the bridge. but the options that the traffic engineers gave david wildstein when he asked for that, weren't draconian enough. david wild stein went back to the traffic engineers after he got the first batch of options from them, and asked them for worse options. he asked them to make the lane shutdown even more severe than what the traffic engineers had initially offered him. presumably so as to cause maximum pain to ft. lee since we know that's what they were trying to do. we reported previously on this show, that that happened in august of last year, ahead of the actual shutdown. well, now, as of today, we have something that could just at least a similar dynamic at work, once the shutdown was already underway. yeah, we're going to stick it to ft. lee, but how can we really stick it to ft. lee. look at the timing here. it was -- just underneath the inset, it was 7:28 a.m.

lee while they were happening. your office put out a pretty strong response to alan zegas' letter. >> yep. >> what, in particular, do you dispute in wildstein's account at this point? >> we'll bring it all to you in a moment. >>> first, the fifth person goes down in the midst of bridge-gate. the now former director of governmental affairs quietly resigned on friday. renna is one of the 20 persons or entities subpoenaed in relation to bridgegate. she answered to bridget anne kelly. renna's friday resignation was not released from her lawyer until sunday before the super bowl kickoff. saying "this reflects a decision i've been considering since shortly after the election." whether or not she knew about the bridgegate scheme to close lanes on ft. lee, renna does appear in e-mails regarding the lane closure, participating in damage control. for example, "the mayor," referring to the mayor of ft. lee, "is extremely upset about the reduction of toll lanes from three to one," renna wrote in the

and so, for officer david lee and the star number, 398, i want to say a big thank you because it had to do with a vicious and dangerous dog and he typed in the information from that form and as a result of that, i got a call from officer denny who is in charge of the vicious and dangerous dog or bad dog unit. and spoke with him on the phone and i was told that i could go to the tender loin station and get a copy for the dangerous dog form. so i said please mail one out to me and use the turn address and the office of the chief of police rather than the dangerous dogs because i wanted to see if i actually got my letter and i went down to the police station and officer green could not find the form i needed even though my instructions were type in vicious for the police website, he found for bite but we have not gotten that far but he went back in and he googled and managed to find the form for me. so i got the form and i filled it out, and i took muni, and went down to animal control, and turned the form in so i now am on track for a march 6th hearing. and so, for officer green, i wou
