i want to pay tribute and remember fondly your late mayor ed lee. and then to make continued connections between our city and cork and here in san francisco. there is a time for everything. there is a time to be born, a time to die. there is a time to plant and a plant to uproot. there is a time to weep and a time to laugh. and there is a time to mourn and a time to dance. a time to be silent and a time to speak. so today, on behalf of the people of cork, i speak on their behalf to offer our deepest sympathy, our thoughts, and prayers to the wife of the late ed lee. to his two daughters. his entire family. and indeed, to you the people of san francisco on the loss of such an amazing man. he was a man of the people. and his focus was always the people. as a community organizer and civil rights lawyer and hard working son of an immigrant family, he understood the strength of the community and measured that by meeting the needs of all its people as they emerged. in 2012, as deputy lord mayor i was here to mark the commencement of the st. patrick's day

we are going to lee walker heights. this is one of the first public housing units built for african-americans. authoritythe housing got money from the city and county to redevelop the place. they are about to tear this public housing unit down. they are going to move everybody out of the public housing to other public housing units. they are going to rebuild this, turn it into mixed income housing. this is one of the first times this is ever going to happen here in asheville. this is a very important project. several other public housing units in and around the city, how this goes, it will tell how the rest of them go. >> what is expected to happen to the people living here right now? >> they are supposed to be moved out into other public housing construction -- and the whole place will be torn down. then they are supposed to be able to move back in mixed income housing. >> how do you expect this to work or what do you think is going to happen? >> i think it's going to take more people to make this happen . it is going
