what a week it's been for the leeds rhinos legend rob burrow. have watched him come through from being a boy. obviously, it is not a nice situation, but, yeah, we are all there for him. people who have followed his journey through super league wins and now his battle with motor neurone disease. as someone who has a degenerative condition, to see rob handle it with such grace, it's so great. he has always been one of our favourite players. determination. ijust get quite emotional when talking about him. i he has been an inspiration to the club since starting his career. you could not get a better leeds legend. it is great to be back at headingley after so long. i am completely overwhelmed to be shortlisted for an nta award. i know i have the backing of the greatest sport in the world, rugby league. i am so proud of how everyone has rallied round me since my diagnosis. i could never tell you just what it means. the no—tears policy i think will be put to the test tonight. i think it will be emotional. but we are really looking forward to it. i am s

rob burrow is a former leeds rhinos hero, one of the brilliant team that won everything there was toa tough year it has been for all of you. how are you all now? yeah, we're really good, yeah, rob's still smiling and is still his happy self so we are doing good, yes. what are the challenges now with the progression of rob's mnd? rob needs help with pretty much everything, getting dressed, getting out of bed in the morning, with his walking, with his feeding. so he's pretty much dependent on me 24 hours for his care. and i know you're going to say that it's fine, but how tough is that for you? there are times when you think, is this going to be the last christmas? is this going to be the last birthday? i just try not to think about those times because that's the emotional part. but rob is so positive, we just keep positive for rob so those thoughts quickly go out of my mind, just try not to think about life without rob. in the book we hear from you as well. and you talk about the no tears policy, the no crying policy. how have you managed to keep that rule going for so long? i think b
