in san francisco leigh martinez ktvu fox 2news. >>> well temperatures creeped up a little bit in the inland valleys. are they going to continue in meteorologist mark tamayo here with a look at today's temperatures. mark? >> temperatures are trending up. topping 100 degrees this week especially by tuesday. take a look at the highs today. in fact all weekend long during a mild to warm weekend out there away from the coastline. highs today range from 62 in pacifica, some 70s and 80s to some 90s inland. not major heat, one of the warmer spots or the hotter spots are checking in at 96 degrees. we will be heating up. in fact take a look at the overall trend. the graph is going up. for monday, tuesday, wednesday we're thinking close to 100 degrees. in fact by tuesday easily topping 100 degrees. this will be dangerous heat especially for the northern portions of the state. a place like redding, they're under a heat warning. they could hit 115 degrees. that's a major deal by tuesday. this is monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday. thankfully the bay area we don't have these warnings just yet, b

leigh martinez is in livermore where most of these break-ins occurred. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. where on the northeast side of livermore and this is the tiffany commons street which loops around. you can see a lot of the cars parked on the streets even though we see a lot of people in the parking garages. we don't know if these cars were targeted but this does loop around and a lot of cars were hit. we see some cars with plastic covering over the windows. the police believed that this smash-and-grab crime spree began at the hampton inn in brentwood early friday morning. 17 vehicles were damaged and most have broken windows. the suspects headed to livermore. this surveillance video shows the suspects in town at 4:20 am friday, casing the street. you see the car parking, two people running out and returning five minutes later. they also hit the tiffany, and waterlily, totaling 34 break- ins in 30 minutes. the neighbors woke up to broken glass and damaged windows, and one woman had three cars broken into. >> i have lived here for about 13 ye
