smith facing a judge this afternoon in a south bay courtroom. the 49ers star is answering to weapons and dui charges. kpix 5's len ramirez says his season and future are in jeopardy. >> reporter: a dramatic turn of events as aldon smith pled no contest to three felonies and three misdemeanors stemming from two cases in santa clara county in 2012 and 2013. mr. smith faced the judge this afternoon pleading no contest to a weapons charge where he fired a .45-caliber handgun at a san jose house party that turned violent. no one was hurt. he also was found in possession of illegal firearms and weapons clips. smith also pled no contest to a dui last year when he crashed his pickup into a tree in the evergreen area of san jose. he was also accused of swimming out his license plate in that incident to avoid detection. now, the district attorney's office insisted today that there was no special treatment, no plea bargain. >> the defendant, mr. smith, changed his plea on all counts so it wasn't a negotiated plea deal with the d.a.'s office. he changed his plea and the sentencing will be determined by the corporate that's t
