dylan va lenn a te has been remanded to jail after failing to post $5,000. he stole a vehicle last weekend with a baby in the backseat. dann cuellar is live with where the theft happened. what is the latest on this? >> jim, with the suspect in custody, police are left with an interesting dilemma, whether or not to charge the parents that left their one-year-old daughter unattended in an unlocked car making it possible for this to happen in the first place. >> this is the man who stole the car. he's been identified at 22-year-old dylan valente. police got a frantic call from parents saying their car had been stolen with their one-year-old in the backseat. they had gone into a bakery and then the other end of the plaza. >> we believe the car was left unintended for about ten minutes, left running and unlocked. >> that's when valente noticed the car unlocked when he went into the wawa to get food. he came out and saw the car still unintended. he crossed the street and decided to drive off with it. a short time later, he noticed the child in the bac backseat. >>
