liz: we yesterday dolly lenz, prudential elliman, high end realtor, done billions over the years.s seeing massive bottleneck by the end of the year because people are so scared about tax implications if we don't have a fiscal cliff deal, either way. are you seeing that same bottleneck in sales? >> i can't say we're seeing. we and all public builders reporting quarter over quarter improvement we reported our quarter recently, up 44% in dollar volume over the same quarter last year so it is really building up but i don't think it is a year-end phenomenon. i think we're building momentum. people are feeling good about the housing market in general and when you combine these record low interest rates, 3 1/2% for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage, our parents didn't have it that low. liz: do you thank ben bernanke? >> i do. i think he has done a fabulous job making sure the economy --. david: although he has been hurting savers. interest rates are so low people on fixed income are not getting any kind of return. which leads me to wonder whether a lot of them are actually buying real estate
