in april 2014, williams brought his two-month- old son leonard pronounced dead. an autopsy showed the boy died of malnutrition and dehydration. williams-mccarthy appeared for a plea hearing and sentencing tuesday afternoon. she plead guilty to three different charges and was asked to explain her plea for each one. the first charge was child endangerment resulting in serious injury and she was given up to 10 years.
