hail reported this afternoon down there the size of baseballs about two miles away from the leonard town area. that's all gone now. just a few showers left across pa. nothing here at all. take a look at temperatures right now around the region. 75, a warm night, dew points way up there, and where did it rain earlier there will be some fog overnight. south-southwest winds at 5, barometer steady at 29.96 inches. around the state, 70 in oakland, 80 ocean city and hagerstown. we're in the mid-70s around the baltimore metro. again, mostly clear skies right now. i don't think we can see anything in way of showers. just to the north of us there are a few left, but probably not going to make it in here. 70s everywhere, so another warm night with very little wind going. any of that rain we saw earlier across southern virginia, southern maryland, and you folks on the eastern shore did see some pretty good rain. cloud cover this afternoon started to build, and then we saw the showers developing. as you can see, most of them now to our south, and just a little bit showing across northern york county

baseball size hail, golf ball size hail around calloway, leonard town and as it moved through st.ary's city it weakened. they had report of a funnel cloud around red gate in central sections of st. mary's county. this storm is moving to the east, a little to the southeast. parts to the northeast. it's weakened quite a bit. this is a strong thunderstorm, a severethunderstorm. heavy rain of course. the potential for large hail and damaging wind possible as this moves off to the east about 20 miles per hour. this is a bti number, the 2.2. we watch that closely. it's at 2.7. when it got up there close to 3, that was potential tornado. that was earlier. true view shows you more activity to the north and down to the south of us. we will watch the northern lines of showers and thunderstorms. some of it still could come across later on this evening. but the thought is that this will weaken a bit once the sunsets. a couple of things we are keeping an eye on to the south and to the north. at 11:00, we are thinking clouds. there could be a slight chance of a thunderstorm by then. early cloud
