the most of any film including best picture, best director and best actor fe leonardo dicaprio. for dicaprio it's his fifth career nomination, but he's still looking for his first win. his competition includes fellow board winner for matt damon, bryan cranston and last year's best actor winner eddie redmayne. "the revenant" best picture competition includes "the martian," "bridge of spies," "brooklyn," "spotlight" and "mad max: fury road," that film grabbed ten nominations overall. cate blanchette has a shot at number three. brie larson for "room" and jennifer lawrence for "joy." also in the mix, ronan for "brooklyn" and charlotte rampling for 45 years. also this morning among the nominees sylvester stallone, his third oscar nomination but it would be his first win. box office titan "star wars" missed out on a best picture bid, but it did pick up five overall nominations. the tag line for this year's oscars is, we all dream in gold. and come february 28th we'll find out which of those dreams comes true for this morning's nominees. i'm mark barger in los angeles, california, back to you. >> t
