the suspect is 19-year-old henry leon of oakland. police say leon was in a relationship with the victim and is the father of their baby. police say the 15-year-old girl was stabbed a number of times. an officer who arrived on the scene performed cpr until paramedics arrived, but the girl died at the scene. leon is believed to be driving a dark blue cadillac escalade and the california license plate number of 5 sbe 608. police say stabbing was not game-related this was san leandro's first homicide of the year in san francisco, hundreds of people came together to video their opposition to an immigration law that they say ends up tearing families apart. the law brought together lawmakers, immigrants and nbc bay area church leaders. kimberly was there and has more. >> the group gathered here at st. mary's cathedral to discuss the issues. now california has more departations under this program than any other state and so today, backed by the roman catholic archdiocese of san francisco, hundreds gathered to speak out against this program.
