kristin leon caug first resporpdz at a fire scene in northeast. she joins us live with more, crane tin. >> good evening, tope, when it's this hot out and believe me, it's very hot outside. most of us are either blasting our acs or some place cool. but for firefighters who come to work, that's not the case. and not only are they battling the fire itself but they're battling heat and all of the elements that go with it. this particular fire started tonight here at this home on summit place north east. now, firefighters say when they arrived the fire was in the attic and in the roof attic of the building and they were able to contain it there before it spread. one firefighter had a minor injury and was taken to the hospital and we're told is expected to be okay. and these men and women keep in mind here, they're working under extreme circumstances and in this case, everyone can take a page from their book about how to stay safe when temperatures soar. >> on hot days like this obviously we weaa gear and performing a lot of strenous activity it takes a
