leslie brinkley is live on the heels of the east bay where the view of mount diablo was obscured by smoke today. the a qi is about 135 where i am. if you go further east out towards diablo, it gradually gets a little worse. the good news is that this afternoon, pg&e announced they were beginning to turn on power for folks who lost power yesterday. instead of cutting power to 51,000 customers as was planned, pg&e ended up pulling the plug for shutdowns on only 48 thousand customers in northern california. as pg&e starts turning the power back on, customers in the lonoke, napa, and sonoma counties may have to be patient. here in the bay, counties are impacted. that could be potentially early tomorrow afternoon. there's always the possibility that could either move up or potentially move back, but that is where we expect the timeframe to be. turning the morning sun orange and graying out the horizon. that's why the they air quality management district has put out an advisory this week. >> at times it will settle down to ground level, but we are not expecting air quality to be worse than mode
