i am leslie brinkley, abc 7 news . dan: nice day to be out there walking. i have walked that many times. there is a shorter loop and a much longer route. ama: nice. not bad weather for it although we are still waiting for the wall-to-wall sunshine. dan: [laughter] real spring. sandhya: many people have been waiting for that. it will come up later on this week. we will notice the temperatures rising. right now, it is not exactly beach weather but it is a beautiful day. you can see the sunshine if you are going to the boardwalk. you will notice how nice it is. some kids are out of school and enjoying the boardwalk, which is absolutely fun. let's talk about how it is not been beach weather. san jose's high temperatures this month, 11 of the 13 days have been below average. today is included. there have only been two days with above average temperatures. we will change things up later this week. sierra, nevada seeing thunderstorms. they are getting some rain. still some low clouds lingering near the coastline. temperatures still lagging behind where they should
